Lado (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Root Keyboard mobile application and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our keyboard application and related services.

Device information. We may collect information about your device, including device model, operating system version, language settings, and app version to improve compatibility and performance.
Usage analytics. With your consent where required, we collect anonymized analytics about feature usage and crash reports to identify bugs and improve the user experience.
Text input for AI features. When you use AI-powered features such as rewrite, grammar check, translation, or summarization, the text you choose to process is sent to our servers or third-party AI providers to generate a response. We do not retain the content of your messages on our servers after the response is delivered.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Root Keyboard application;
- To provide AI-powered writing assistance and related keyboard features;
- To diagnose crashes, monitor app health, and prevent abuse;

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with trusted service providers who assist us with hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and AI processing, solely to perform services on our behalf and under contractual confidentiality obligations.

You can disable network-dependent AI features from within the app settings if you prefer not to send text to our servers. You may also contact us to request deletion of any account or support data we hold.
6. Children's Privacy
Root Keyboard is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through the app.
